Each child’s program is overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and carried out by our dedicated team of Buddies, who partner closely with families to create meaningful, long-lasting growth.

Play Based Therapy
For kids with autism and other developmental disabilities, play becomes a powerful learning tool—supporting communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and early academic readiness.
We incorporate evidence-based ABA strategies into games, toys, and imagination so children are able to practice important skills while staying relaxed.
This approach helps reduce frustration, encourages curiosity, and allows therapists to meet each child at their level, making learning both joyful and meaningful.
Social Skills
Social skills are essential for making friends, navigating group settings, and building confidence. Our social learning programs immerse children in fun, guided activities designed to help them practice real-life social interactions.
At The Buddy Center, we focus on essential skills like starting and maintaining conversations, understanding social cues, and teamwork. We also teach learners how to set and communicate boundaries.
Focus areas include:
- Sharing, turn-taking, and cooperative play
- Developing flexibility and coping strategies
- Understanding emotions and social cues
- Conversation skills
- Building friendships
School Support
Success at school requires more than academics—children need support, structure, and strong school readiness skills to thrive as they grow.
For kids with autism, developing these foundational abilities early on is essential for building confidence, independence, and meaningful participation in the classroom.
Our ABA school support services focus on strengthening the behavioral, social, and communication skills children need to be fully prepared for school as they get older.
We help bridge the gap between therapy and school expectations by working closely with families and teachers to create consistent support across home, classroom, and therapy environments.
Teacher Collaboration:
We work closely with your child’s educators to ensure therapy strategies align with classroom expectations and support consistent progress.
Behavior Intervention Plans:
Our team creates clear, individualized behavior plans (called BIP'S) that help children succeed in structured school environments.
Navigate The IEP Process:
We guide parents/caregivers through evaluations, meetings, and goals so they feel confident advocating for their child’s needs with teachers.
Participation Skills:
We teach essential skills such as following routines, transitioning, staying on task, and engaging appropriately in group settings.
Communication Strategies:
We equip children with practical communication tools that help them express needs, reduce frustration, and participate more fully at school.
Reducing Bad Behaviors:
